Jim Comer For twenty years Jim Comer has worked as a writer, speech coach and creative consultant for Fortune 500 companies such as Avon Products, Advanced Micro Devices, Universal Studios, Rockwell International and Glendale Federal Bank.

Jim has spoken on communication and given presentation skills workshops from Los Angeles to Halifax, Nova Scotia. His keynotes include You Are the Message, PowerPoint to the People, How Not to Speak Like a Geek and Parenting Your Parents.

His articles have appeared in Reader's Digest and on the Op-Ed pages of The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and Austin American-Statesman. Jim has written jokes for Joan Rivers and Phyllis Diller and monologues for Bob Hope and Pat Paulsen.

During his years as an actor in New York, Jim played Snoopy, drove a cab, appeared on seven quiz shows including Jeopardy, and wrote a book - How to Survive A Roommate - that landed him on the Today Show with Jane Pauley.

His play, Behind Every Good Woman, There's Another One! was produced in Los Angeles. Jim edited his father's World War II memoir, Combat Crew, published internationally by William Morrow & Company. Jim's new book, When Roles Reverse: A Guide to Parenting Your Parents, published by Hampton Roads, was a finalist for the Writers' League of Texas Best Non-Fiction Book of 2007 and is available at WhenRolesReverse.com.
